As the Stereographer for Blue Sky Studios, I am the lead authority regarding the execution of the artistic stereoscopic treatment on all Blue Sky Studios films. Create all depth scripts to declare the stereoscopic rhythm and style, enhancing the emotional temperature of each film. Ensure the integrity of the stereoscopic treatment is maintained throughout the length of the production. Create a relationship with the audience and all filmic elements using immersive cinematic techniques. Work closely with the director, art director, and cinematographer to create lens kits. Work closely with producers and executives to set production and staffing expectations per film.
Oversee all stages of stereoscopic production; depth planning to digital intermediate including final QC before theatrical release. Updated and administered the technical stereoscopic production pipeline to maintain an intuitive stress-free workflow. Being present at all post-production sessions to alleviate any and all impediments to the stereoscopic treatment. Create the most comfortable and creative use of stereography.
